The details of 2014 Korea Research Grant are shown below:

Award

· Eligibility: AOSpine Members from korea

· Number of grants: 4

· Amount: 5,000 CHF

· Type: Start-up (clinical or basic science)

· Duration: 1 Year

· October 15th, 2013 - deadline for submission of grant application

· December 2013 - award winner will be contacted

Terms & Conditions

· Progress report submission at the six month interval and at the completion of the project is required

· The investigator is expected to present his/her research stemming from this award at an AOSpine sponsored meeting or other similar spine-related event at their own expenses

· The research work is expected to be published in a peer-reviewed indexed journal, with acknowledgement of financial support from AOSpine

Selection Criteria

· Current scientific and clinical relevance, interest, and impact

· Originality and innovation

· Suitability of material and methods

· Feasibility of expected deliverables

· Experience and past performance of applicant(s)

· Specific abilities of the investigators for the proposed project

· Budget requirement vs. expected deliverables

· Reasonable time plan

· Completeness of proposal

· Overall impression of application
